In the 1980s, magnetic toys such as Magna Doodle, Wooly Willy, and Magnetix were popular. Wooly Willy was a toy that had a magnetic wand to move metal shavings around to create facial hair on a cartoon face. Magnetix were magnetic building toys that allowed kids to create various structures and designs using magnetic rods and balls. These toys were not only entertaining but also helped develop fine motor skills and creativity in children. **
